In the last weeks Smallwonders’ games were in the Agenda of several spanish Media. One of them was Radio Nacional de España -RNE- (Spanish National Radio Station), where our production manager, Juan Araujo, and our developer manager, Eduardo Veiga, explained the things more interesting of World of Popus. You can heard the report, here.
It’s very amazing and exciting surfing on the net and discover the different videos of that players or videogame’s web sites did of our last game; World of Popus.
We were looking for in youtube and we show you we find. There are several visions around the world, from Spain to Japan and from Russia to France.

This is Ivan’s artwork, one of our graphic artists. It´s about the characters of Carmen’s Army, a Battle of Puppets Opera, our first game.
Ivan was responsible to finish the characters, the color and the animation of the game. The character design was concepted by Anxo Vizcaíno.
Ivan has a blog in which he showed these pictures and writes about some of his drawings. As you see, Smallwonders team is very creative

2010 was a good year, but 2011 it’s going to be better. Our imagination is running higher than ever. Look at Ivan, one of our graphic artists, in his creation process

In 2010 we presented ourselves to the world with the launch of two games. The first one on February “Battle of Puppets” got to be in the Top 25 in some countries and won the best mobile videogame award in the Spanish National Awards for the videogame industry Gamelab 2010. Unbelievable, right?
Meanwhile, we were already working on our second game, World of Popus, that we launched last November and is still in full promotion.
Last year, we also launched our first online contest, “Battle of Puppets contest” with a new endless mode and a new stage that represents the comic heroes’ city with many references to famous heroes.
We delivered some updates too. We hope to launch another one next month for World of Popus with a bunch of new stages. So, stay tunned because you are going to be surprised with many new good things

In World of Popus, you must take the role of their God and lead them through different scenarios that include mazes, races and strategy games.

The first Small Wonders online contest, “Battle of Puppets Contest”, is just finished. Almost 3.000 participants took part in this challenging contest that had given away an iPod Nano and seven iTunes Cards worth 25$ each one.

Battle of Puppets Contest was placed with a new endless mode and a new stage that represents the comic heroes’ city with many references to famous heroes.
Finally, 2841 participants took part in this competition after registering theirs details in the iTunes application. The registration was completely free. “Battle of Puppets Contest” was active from December 1st 00:00am (GMT-8) and finished on December 22th 00:00am (GMT-8).
